Nizhny Novgorod airport resumed normal operations after the lifting of restrictions on March 28.

      March 28, 2026 09:40 Society The Nizhny Novgorod airport has lifted restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft, reported Rosaviatsiya.

      Recall that since the night of March 28, the airport was sending and receiving flights only with the approval of the competent authorities. The restrictions were imposed due to the threat of a drone attack.

      Earlier, we reported that starting March 29, the air harbor in the capital of the Volga region will switch to a spring-summer schedule. Until the end of October, residents of Nizhny Novgorod will have access to nine international destinations.
