Captain of HC "Torpedo" Alexey Kruchinin has been suspended for one match.

      March 26, 2026 16:18 Sports The KHL Sports Disciplinary Committee reviewed the incident from the second match of the series between "Severstal" and "Torpedo," which occurred in the 6th minute of the second period. Following the investigation, it was decided not to change the previously imposed penalty on Nizhny Novgorod forward Alexey Kruchinin. Recall that during the match, the captain of "Torpedo" was ejected for the remainder of the game for roughness, receiving a 5+20 penalty. In total, the team accumulated 49 penalty minutes in that match. After reviewing the submitted materials, the committee decided not to reconsider the previously imposed penalty. The sanctions against Kruchinin remain unchanged in accordance with paragraph 1.2.2 of Article 29 of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations — "Attack to the head or neck." The hockey player is suspended for one match and is also required to pay a monetary fine. The KHL regulations for the 2025/2026 season state that this article provides for a fine ranging from 100,000 to 500,000 rubles.
