One of the oldest residents of the Nizhny Novgorod zoo "Limpopo" has died.
On March 26, 2026, at 15:20, Society: One of the oldest inhabitants of the "Limpopo" zoo, a female bison named Muza, has passed away. She arrived in the capital of the Volga region from Lipetsk in 2006. Over the years of living in "Limpopo," Muza became one of the most recognizable and beloved residents of the zoo. During her time at the zoo, the bison gave birth multiple times. In 2021, the Year of the Ox, she had a daughter named Marta. Now Marta is already grown up and has her own offspring. "She met her old age surrounded by care and love, with her daughter Marta, her friend Yarik, and her grandson Grom.
