       A local resident will be tried in the Nizhny Novgorod region for a serious crime. The court has already received and studied the materials of the criminal case against the man accused of intentionally taking the life of another person. This was reported by the press service of the Dzerzhinsk City Court. Investigators found that the deadly conflict occurred in December 2025 on the porch of a bath complex. Two intoxicated men began to argue fiercely, and this quarrel quickly escalated into a fight. The accused pulled out a folding knife and struck the second participant in the conflict several times in the head, chest, and abdomen. When the injured person fell, the attacker further kicked him in the head. Due to these severe injuries, the victim died right at the scene of the incident.

       The proceedings for this criminal case will begin very soon. A hearing with the participation of the accused is scheduled for March 26, 2026.
