March 24, 2026 12:23 Sports A bike path along the Youth Avenue is planned to be established in 2026, reports pravda-nn.ru, citing the Department of Urban Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Administration.
The new section will be an extension of the already existing bike path on October Avenue. Its length will be 1.5 km.
Currently, the Municipal Budgetary Institution "Nizhny Novgorod Civil Project" is preparing project and estimate documentation for construction.
In addition, under the national project "Infrastructure for Life," there are plans to update public spaces in the Lenin and Sormovo districts. Bike paths are also planned to be created there.
Recall that last autumn a new bike path appeared on the viaduct on Lenin Avenue. In 2024, a closed 17-kilometer bike network was built in the Avtozavodsky district.
