Negotiations for the concession to build the duplicate of Lenin Avenue are ongoing.

As reported by NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" from the Main Department of Highways of the region, negotiations are ongoing. The parties are discussing and coordinating the terms of the future agreement.

      Engineering surveys have been completed to the extent necessary for creating the documentation for land planning. The first three phases have been approved by the regional Ministry of Construction, while the fourth phase is under development.

      The development of project documentation for phases 1-3 of the first stage of construction has also begun. The project and estimate documentation for passing state expertise will be formed after the concession agreement is signed, the Main Department of Highways added.

      It was previously reported that the project for creating the duplicate of Lenin Avenue includes the construction of a four-lane road 4.55 km long with overpasses, a bridge, and pedestrian tunnels. The estimated investment volume is 14.67 billion rubles. It is expected that the facility will be completed by 2029.

      Meanwhile, the construction of the duplicate of Gagarin Avenue continues. According to the latest data, the second phase is expected to be completed by July 2027.
