Systematic work on career support for schoolchildren and students is organized in all branches of the region as part of a project on career guidance and youth routing. Services are provided both online and in person at all branches of the Nizhny Novgorod region employment service. "Helping youth in professional development is a strategic investment in the future of the Nizhny Novgorod region's economy. Today, we focus not just on facilitating employment but on forming a workforce potential tailored to specific employer requests. As part of the youth routing project, we are building a system from the school bench to the workplace. It is important for every young person to understand the current situation in the labor market, see real employment prospects in their home region, and have the opportunity to build a career based on the specialties that our industry, IT sector, and social sphere need today. For schoolchildren, the personnel center offers services aimed at conscious future planning. We see a great interest in temporary employment among teenagers: last year, during the summer holidays, more than 7,000 kids aged 14 to 18 worked with us. More than 300 employers in the region provided positions for them.
