Almost 23 km of engineering networks will be built at the Diveyevo Monastery.

      March 23, 2026 10:15 Society In the second quarter of 2026, work will begin on the installation of engineering networks on the territory of the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo Monastery. The project has received a positive conclusion from the Main State Expert Review of Russia. The documentation was prepared at the request of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Management Company for the Development of the Sarov-Diveevo Cluster and Nizhny Novgorod Region." The project includes the construction of a water intake facility from underground sources, as well as water supply, sewage, and stormwater drainage networks. The work will affect the entire territory of the monastery. The total length of the engineering networks will be 22.9 km. Since the monastery is under state protection, special technologies will be used during the work, taking into account the status of the site. Archaeological observations are planned for the first stage. The project is being implemented as part of the pilgrimage and tourist cluster program "Arzamas – Diveevo – Sarov," aimed at developing the territory of the monastery.
