      March 23, 2026 09:14 Sports "Torpedo-Gorky" lost to "Magnitka" in the opening game of the 1/8 finals of the Russian Champion Cup. The match ended with a score of 1:3.

      The score was opened just 45 seconds in. The Nizhny Novgorod team made a positional error, and the hosts took advantage of the moment — 1:0.

      After conceding a goal, Dmitry Kosmachev's team actively attacked, but they could not equalize the score.

      In the second period, "Magnitka" increased their lead — 2:0. And in the 50th minute, the Magnitogorsk team extended the score to 3:0.

      But "Torpedo-Gorky" continued to attack and managed to reduce the deficit. Denis Orlovich-Grudkov scored the only goal for Nizhny Novgorod in the match while playing six-on-five.

      The series score is 1:0. The next match (0+) will take place on March 24 in Magnitogorsk.
