      March 22, 2026 14:14 Incidents A snow block nearly killed an elderly woman in Semyonov. The video from the intercom was published by the Telegram channel "My Nizhny Novgorod."

      According to the source, everything happened near a residential building on Chkalov Street. The woman was sitting on a bench feeding cats. At some point, the cats suddenly ran in different directions. A second later, an "avalanche" came down from the roof. The woman did not move from her spot.

      As seen in the video, one of the cats was injured — the snow collapsed right on top of it.

      Recall that a week ago, a similar incident occurred in Semyonov. An ice block nearly fell on girls there. A criminal case was initiated by the Investigative Committee. The head of the district, Dmitry Poluektov, called the incident a flagrant negligence.
