       Studded tires cannot be used in the summer: the ban is in effect from June 1 to August 31, reminded lawyer Dmitry Roschin. According to him, the seasonality of tires in Russia is enshrined in the technical regulation of the Customs Union "On the Safety of Wheeled Vehicles" and in the resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation. This is reported by RIA "Novosti". Roschin clarified that driving a car with studded tires in the summer is considered a violation. For this, the driver may receive a warning or be fined 500 rubles. This refers to a situation where the vehicle is operated with violations that prohibit the movement of transport.

       The lawyer added that in the event of an accident, the driver may be found guilty if experts determine that the accident occurred due to poor tire grip on the road. Using studded tires in the summer can worsen the contact of the wheels with the asphalt and affect the assessment of the driver's actions during the investigation of the accident.
