      March 23, 2026 17:53 Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a fact of unauthorized access to the sites of economic entities in the Federal State Information System "VetIS" was revealed, reported the regional office of the Rosselkhoznadzor. According to the agency, using this access, information about 16.5 tons of boneless frozen beef was entered into the system. The documents indicated that the products came from sites located in the Gaginsky, Pilninsky, Sechenovsky, and Krasnooktyabrsky districts. The information was submitted on behalf of LLC "Agrobusiness." At the same time, a person designated as a second-category veterinarian from the district veterinary center appeared in the system. As clarified by the Rosselkhoznadzor, this person is not an employee of the state veterinary service of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Moreover, the enterprises that were indicated when processing the documents did not produce such products. Also, as a supplier of raw materials, an economic entity from the Kaluga region was listed, which has already ceased its business activities. The fake account and the transactions conducted in its name were annulled. Materials regarding the fact of unauthorized access were handed over to the police.
