A truck with a trailer fell from the viaduct on Lenin Avenue in Nizhny Novgorod.

      March 23, 2026 17:20 Incidents A serious road traffic accident involving a heavy-duty truck occurred in Nizhny Novgorod. The incident happened around 13:20 on March 23 on Lenin Avenue, near the "Proletarskaya" metro station. According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, a 61-year-old driver of a Scania truck with a trailer lost control while driving. As a result, the vehicle veered off the overpass and fell down.

      The truck sustained significant mechanical damage. However, the driver was not injured. Currently, specialists are determining the causes and circumstances of the accident.
