Details have emerged about the death of a 22-year-old woman from Nizhny Novgorod in Georgia.
March 23, 2026 17:03 Incidents In Georgia, the circumstances surrounding the death of 22-year-old Nizhny Novgorod resident Alina Kambarova are being investigated. According to TASS, citing the local Ministry of Internal Affairs, a criminal case has been opened under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for liability for inciting suicide.
Recall that the girl arrived in Georgia on March 16 and checked into a hotel in Tbilisi. It is presumed that she was met at the airport by an acquaintance living there.
The last time Alina was in contact was on the night of March 17. At that time, she sent a short video to an acquaintance in Tbilisi showing the view from the hotel and wished him a good night. After that, there were no messages from her, and in the morning her phone was found to be turned off.
Relatives, concerned about the lack of communication, asked the acquaintance to check if everything was okay. The man who accompanied her reported that she and another girl had used marijuana in the room. In the morning, he found her dead.
A forensic examination has been appointed to establish the exact cause of death.
Earlier, it was reported that in Nizhny Novgorod, a driver who caused a fatal accident under the influence of drugs has been arrested.
