      March 23, 2026 16:13 Economy Experts from the regional competence center (RCC) together with employees of LLC "Specinvestproject" from Nizhny Novgorod summarized the interim results of implementing lean technology tools at the enterprise as part of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." Specialists from the regional competence center have been working at the participating enterprises of the federal project for six months. After three months, an Information Day is held, where RCC experts and the project team summarize the results and present the final schedule of activities to achieve the goals to the enterprise's management. The main activity of the company is providing services for technological connection to power supply networks. The process of providing services for technological connection to power supply networks up to 15 kW was chosen as the pilot flow. "The enterprise's working group, together with specialists from the regional competence center, analyzed the process at the pilot site and identified 12 'bottlenecks.' Among them are the need for additional document scanning and a large share of manual labor when working with standard projects. A plan of activities was proposed for each of these points. The implementation of the RCC specialists' proposals will allow for a 36 percent increase in output by the time the project is completed," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. RCC experts have already trained seven employees of the company in lean technologies and are preparing three internal trainers who will be able to conduct training independently in the future. In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, lean technologies are being implemented by four companies in the energy supply sector. A total of 315 regional companies are participants in the federal project "Labor Productivity."
