The court fined "Sitimatic - NN" for violations at waste disposal sites.

      On March 20, 2026, at 14:37, the Kanavinsky District Court of Nizhny Novgorod recognized the legality of bringing JSC "Sitimatik – NN" to administrative responsibility for violations of environmental requirements. The court supported the position of the Interregional Office of Rosprirodnadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Republic of Mordovia.

      The company was found guilty under part 2 of Article 8.7 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation for failing to carry out mandatory measures for land reclamation and soil protection. This concerns the activities of the enterprise that operates the Balakhna and Gorodets landfills for solid municipal waste.

      Violations of environmental legislation at these sites have been recorded multiple times. During a scheduled inspection in the fall of 2025, specialists identified negative impacts on the soil. Samples taken from adjacent areas showed exceedances of pollutant concentrations. This indicates that the company did not implement the necessary measures to protect the land from pollution.

      Additionally, at the Gorodets landfill, the spread of leachate onto the dirt road around the waste placement areas was recorded. At the Balakhna landfill, waste was found to be stored on an unprepared site. Also, in the areas adjacent to both sites, waste was noted to have spread beyond the landfills.

      As a result of the inspection, Rosprirodnadzor issued a ruling to hold the company accountable.

      The court confirmed that the guilt of the legal entity was proven, and no necessary and timely measures were taken to prevent violations. As a result, the ruling of the supervisory authority was upheld. JSC "Sitimatik – NN" was fined 200,000 rubles.
