The Nizhny Novgorod cable car will open after repairs on March 21.

Initially, it was planned that the repairs would last until March 22 inclusive, but they were able to complete them ahead of schedule thanks to the coordinated work of specialists and optimization of production processes. During the work, a scheduled replacement of the bearing unit of the return pulley was carried out at the "Nizhgorodskaya" station. This will ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of the equipment, extend its service life, and maintain a high level of safety for passenger transportation. The General Director of "UrbanTech Service" LLC, Alexey Chudaev, noted that the cable car remains an important and in-demand mode of transport for residents and guests of the region. According to him, specialists did everything possible to complete the repairs ahead of schedule and restore movement as quickly as possible. From March 21, the cable car will operate according to the usual winter schedule: * from Monday to Thursday — from 6:45 AM to 9:00 PM; * on Friday and Saturday — from 6:45 AM to 10:00 PM; * on Sunday and public holidays — from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
