      March 7, 2026 10:16 Incidents A 13-year-old boy died on Station Street in Nizhny Novgorod, reported Mayor Yuri Shalabaev on his Telegram channel.

      The incident occurred in Sormovo the day before, on March 6. A group of teenagers entered an abandoned building surrounded by a fence. The structures collapsed. One minor died, and two were injured.

      The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case for causing death by negligence. Meanwhile, the prosecutor's office is investigating how the minors ended up there and why they were without adults.

      "Currently, two other boys are in the hospital, being examined. There is information that there are no serious consequences. I express my deep condolences to the parents of the deceased child," added Mayor Shalabaev.
