      “At around eight in the morning, the roof creaked, the cracking intensified, and the slate flew off. I went outside - it turns out the roof had fallen,” said the owner of the affected apartment to journalists from "Kstati" (16+).

      According to locals, the building was constructed back in 1912 and resembles a barrack. It was originally designed for eight apartments, but in recent years only three remain. The house was previously under the management of the railway, but they later abandoned it. The municipality did not want to take ownership of the building due to its deplorable condition.

      Residents reported that problems with the house had occurred before. There were regular leaks, one of which was located precisely where the roof later split.

      The administration of the Navashino district stated that measures are being taken to relocate citizens. The necessary documentation is being processed.

      Earlier, it was reported that the roof of a car enterprise collapsed in the Voskresensky district. Seven "Gazelles" were damaged.
