Activists of "United Russia" congratulated Nizhny Novgorod women on March 8th.

      On March 7, 2026, at 10:33 AM, Society On the eve of International Women's Day, "United Russia" held its traditional campaign "Give Women Flowers." Party activists and young guards congratulated representatives of the fair sex on the upcoming holiday. The first stop was the 422 Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. From early morning, participants of the campaign greeted female staff of the medical institution at the entrance, handing them bright tulips. "It's breathtaking! What a start to the day, it’s truly impressive. Thank you very much," shared her impressions medical worker of the 422 Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lyubov Buldygina. "A very good campaign. Thank you very much for lifting our spirits. Wishing everyone sunshine, peace, goodness, love, and that there is peace all over the world!" said the head nurse of the infectious diseases department of the 422 Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Regina Fakeeva. In total, 100 bouquets were given to female medical workers. The organizers were the regional executive committee of the party, the local branch of "United Russia" in the Soviet district, and the charitable foundation for supporting the population "Lotus." "On the eve of March 8, we congratulate the doctors and nurses of the military hospital — people who, despite the holiday, remain on the front lines, treating our fighters and getting them back on their feet. Today, we especially want to create a festive atmosphere for them, to say thank you and wish that spring always reigns in their souls. Even if it’s still cool and snowy outside, I am sure our tulips will warm their hearts. And to all the women of the Nizhny Novgorod region, I wish warmth, light, confidence in tomorrow — and may luck always be with them," congratulated Dmitry Filipenko, head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional executive committee of the "United Russia" party. The campaign continued on the main pedestrian street of the city — Bolshaya Pokrovskaya. Here, party activists and young guards gave women tulips, creating a festive mood for the residents of Nizhny Novgorod and guests of the city. Passersby accepted the flowers with smiles and thanked for the unexpected surprise. "Flowers are always very pleasant. And everyone loves gifts. Tulips are very beautiful! Thank you very much! Now I feel that spring is very close," shared her emotions one of the city residents. The campaign "Give Women Flowers" takes place annually in the Nizhny Novgorod region and has become one of the symbols of attention and respect for women.
