      In 2025 the "Health Trains" once again became a real lifeline for residents of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Over the year the mobile medical complexes saw almost 43,000 people, reaching the most remote corners of the region. A total of 245 trips were organized, during which doctors visited 790 settlements, the press service of the governor and government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region reports.

      During that time medical staff conducted about 73,000 consultations and performed more than 153,000 examinations. Patients could have ECGs, fluorography, mammography, ultrasound, and submit tests directly in the mobile laboratory. At residents' requests, additional modules were also sent on trips — a dental office and a diamobile for identifying endocrine disorders, including diabetes.

      By the end of the year doctors detected more than 8,600 conditions, including 116 cases of cancer. More than half of the patients were referred for further testing, and about 1,200 people were referred for hospitalization. The regional Ministry of Health emphasizes: "The 'Health Trains' not only bring medical care closer to people, but also significantly ease the burden on district hospitals." Very soon, after the New Year holidays end, the mobile clinics will be back on their routes.
