      On the construction site of the residential complex "Ankudinovsky Park" in Kstovo, a 27-year-old worker was killed.

      According to the State Labor Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, it all happened on the afternoon of January 4, 2026, at about 3:20 p.m. A rebar worker employed by the company "Karkas Monolit" fell into a technical opening intended for a ventilation system.

      The injuries proved fatal; the man died at the scene.

      An official investigation has been opened. Specialists will have to determine exactly what caused the tragedy and under what circumstances the fall occurred.

      Earlier it was reported that the State Labor Inspectorate is investigating the causes of an employee’s death in a fire aboard a vessel in the Sibirsky Zaton area.
