In Nizhny Novgorod on Moskovskoye Highway on the morning of January 6, a traffic accident involving two passenger cars occurred. This was reported by the press service of the traffic police (GIBDD) for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
According to preliminary information, the driver of a Chery, a 55-year-old woman, failed to maintain a safe distance and collided with a Mazda driving ahead. The driver of the second car was a 39-year-old man.
As a result of the incident, a passenger in the Mazda — a 12-year-old boy — was injured. The child was taken to the regional children's hospital.
All circumstances and causes of the incident are currently being established.
