Where and when will the Christmas services be held in Nizhny Novgorod?

      On the night of January 6 to 7, festive services will be held in 92 churches of Nizhny Novgorod in honor of the Nativity of Christ. This was reported by the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese.

      The main Christmas service will take place on January 6 at 23:00 in the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. It will be presided over by Metropolitan Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas, concelebrating with the clergy of the city’s churches. The program of the service will include Matins and the Divine Liturgy.

      In total, on Christmas night and on the day of the feast, solemn liturgies will take place in 92 churches of Nizhny Novgorod, including monastic communities.
