More than 30,700 Nizhny Novgorod residents received career guidance in 2025.

      More than 30.7 thousand residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region underwent career guidance at the "Work of Russia" employment center in 2025. This is 1,700 more people than a year earlier.

      After taking the tests, many were able to find jobs in a wide range of fields — from healthcare and education to trade, housing and utilities, and the agro-industrial complex. Popular occupations included teachers, drivers, accountants, childcare workers, occupational safety specialists, emergency medical technicians, HR specialists and music directors.

      According to Igor Pantyukhin, head of the regional labor and employment department, career guidance is an important step toward making a conscious career choice and successfully entering the labor market. He noted that Nizhny Novgorod residents are actively using this opportunity to find work that truly suits them and is in demand on the market.

      The most active participants in the program were young people aged 14 to 35 — there were 22,600 of them. In the 35 to 50 age category, 4,900 people received career guidance, and among those over 50 — 3,200. Women made up the majority of participants — 18,700.

      Lyudmila Egorova, director of the "Work of Russia" employment center, said that career guidance can be obtained at any employment service office. Specialists conduct tests, help identify strengths and interests, and help select an appropriate professional trajectory.

      For those who prefer the online format, the "Career Guidance" section on the "Work of Russia" portal offers tests, video tours of professions and other useful materials to help make a choice.

      Recall that in 2025, at the instruction of Vladimir Putin, the national "Personnel" project was launched in Russia.

      Earlier it was reported that more than 4,600 Nizhny Novgorod residents were officially employed in 2025.
