      With the help of the investment map of Russia (https://invest.gov.ru/), 17 investment sites were sold in the Nizhny Novgorod Region in 2025. By this indicator the region ranks third among the subjects of the Russian Federation. The investment map of the Russian Federation was developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia together with the Moscow government.

      Since 2025, increasing investment activity has been one of the main objectives of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." The platform aggregates data from the investment maps of RF subjects that were developed in the course of implementing the regional investment standard. Using the map, one can assess the business environment of a prospective project: sales markets, preferential regimes, the presence of mineral resources and infrastructure — from road surfaces to mobile communications. If the necessary connections are absent, the site cards indicate engineering infrastructure facilities for possible technical connection.

      The map also allows you to search for sites in different regions and compare their capabilities. It contains information on key macroeconomic indicators of Russia’s subjects that may affect project implementation.

      Recall that the Nizhny Novgorod Region also has a regional investment map (https://newmap.nn-invest.ru), which is a bilingual (Russian and English) public map of the region. The Corporation for the Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region is responsible for populating the investment maps.

      "The investment map is a convenient tool for selecting a site that meets all the project requirements. In the card for each site you can find the contact details of our territorial managers or the owner, which also helps speed up the purchase process. Information on available territories is updated regularly, so entrepreneurs always have access to up-to-date information on vacant sites on the investment map," noted Igor Ishchenko, General Director of the Corporation for the Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The map was developed taking into account the regional investment standard — a system for creating favorable conditions for doing business in the region. Its components are the investment declaration, a development agency, an investment committee, the investment map, and a set of investment rules that spell out the entire "client journey" of the investor. The standard is aimed at optimizing the interaction of investors with government bodies and resource-supplying organizations and reducing timelines for project implementation. To date, all elements of the investment standard have been implemented in the region.

      The investment map of the Nizhny Novgorod Region was recognized as the best in the country based on the results of the national award "Leaders of Investment Development-2024."

      Recall that JSC "Corporation for the Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" was created at the initiative of Governor Gleb Nikitin. The organization facilitates project implementation at all stages — from providing information about the region, possible support measures, site inspections, to commissioning the facility, taking on obligations to interact with executive authorities, local governments, natural monopoly operators and other organizations.
