In the settlement of Gidrotorf in the Balakhna Municipal District, children of participants in the special military operation were congratulated on the New Year. The event was organized by the local branch of the United Russia party.
“Children should feel our support, the support of the country. Children very much need positive emotions, especially in such a difficult situation, when their fathers cannot be with them. This action is our heartfelt message, our attempt to give the children a bit of New Year’s joy,” said Vladimir Gunko, deputy chairman of the United Russia faction of the Balakhna Municipal District.
An interactive program was organized for the children. Schoolchildren played with Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, guessed riddles and took part in a round dance. The highlight of the celebration was the handing out of sweet gifts.
“Receiving a sweet gift is always pleasant! We are very glad that we were invited and given such a wonderful New Year’s mood,” said a participant in the event.
This campaign is taking place for the first time this year, but the organizers intend to make it a tradition.
“During the holidays it is important that children whose fathers are on the front line feel our support. Such events are not just a good deed but our moral duty. This New Year’s miracle will give the children a bit of joy and warmth that they especially need right now,” said Dmitry Filipenko, head of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Executive Committee of the United Russia party.
It should be recalled that support for participants in the special military operation and their family members is a priority area of the party’s work and one of the main points of United Russia’s national program. This initiative underscores the party’s steadfast commitment to providing comprehensive assistance and support to those who defend the country’s interests.
