A young driver from Voskresensky District was caught drunk behind the wheel of a motorcycle again.

      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, police seized a motorcycle from a resident of the Voskresensky District who once again got behind the wheel while intoxicated. A criminal case has been opened against the offender, and the vehicle was sent to a special impound lot. This was reported by the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Police.

      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, police detained a motorcyclist who had once again taken the wheel while intoxicated. The offender turned out to be a 21-year-old resident of the Voskresensky District, who was riding on the Vozdvizhenskoye–Bolshoye Pole road on a motorcycle without license plates.

      During the check, traffic police officers established that the young man had previously been brought to criminal responsibility for a similar offense. In June 2024 the court sentenced him to a suspended sentence of 1 year and 7 months, fined him 60,000 rubles and deprived him of the right to drive for 2.5 years. Despite this, the driver broke the law again by getting behind the wheel while intoxicated.

      The motorcyclist was removed from driving and taken to a police station, and the vehicle was sent to a specialized impound lot. A criminal case has been opened against the offender, and the motorcycle has been seized pending the court’s decision.
