In 2025, more than 30.7 thousand people underwent career guidance at the Nizhny Novgorod personnel center "Work of Russia." According to the regional Department of Labor and Employment, demand for the service is growing: over the year the number of inquiries increased by 1,700.
Competency assessments helped residents of the region find their place in a wide range of fields: from medicine and education to housing and communal services and agriculture. Among the most popular occupations were teachers, drivers, accountants and ambulance paramedics.
The most active group was young people under 35, with 22.6 thousand taking the tests. Women also showed strong interest in career planning: nearly 19 thousand of the support recipients were women.
Tests can be taken both in person at employment service offices and online on the "Work of Russia" portal. The electronic platform allows users to assess their strengths independently and watch video tours of various professions. This is especially relevant for those who want to change their field of activity after a long break.
Recall that in 2025 the national project "Personnel" began operating in the country at the direction of President Vladimir Putin. Its task is to establish links between education and business in order to promptly train specialists needed by the economy.
