Two 14-year-old girls were injured on a pedestrian crossing in the Avtozavodsky district. According to the Traffic Police Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Nizhny Novgorod, the accident occurred at 20:35 on December 30 at 19 Makovskogo Street.
The driver of an Audi hit the schoolgirls who were crossing the road at a zebra crossing. The injured, suffering contusions, were taken to the regional children's hospital.
A 13-year-old schoolgirl has been reported missing since the evening of December 30. She was last seen at the Avtozavodsky department store.
It was also previously reported that 13 drunk drivers were detected in the regional center in the first days of the new year.
