JSC "OKO" will undertake the development of the water supply and sewerage network in Novinki.

      The development of water supply and sewerage systems on the territory of the Novinsky village council will be carried out by JSC "United Communal Operator". The work will be conducted under the concession agreement, Mayor Yuri Shalabaev reported on his Telegram channel.

      According to the mayor, the modernization will affect the settlements of Novinki and Kudma, as well as the villages of Kusakovka, Komarovo and Sartakovo. The project is long-term and planned through 2038. Around 0.5 billion rubles in investment are expected to be directed to infrastructure development during the first three years.

      Under the concession, the villages of Sartakovo and Komarovo are to be connected to the city’s water supply system. In addition, a sewer collector is planned to be built in Kudma, which will make it possible to stop discharging wastewater into storage ponds.

      Earlier it was reported that the construction of 9 km of a new water pipeline in Olgina and Novinki had been completed. At the same time, preparations began for the construction of 16 km of sewerage networks and two pumping stations in these areas.

      Recall that at the end of 2025 Nizhny Novgorod approved a program to modernize housing and communal services through 2031.
