      A total of 58.5 million rubles has been allocated for the improvement of the square named after cosmonaut Komarov in Nizhny Novgorod. This is reported on the public procurement website.

      The administration of the Leninsky District has announced an electronic tender for the execution of the first phase of the work. The project is being implemented as part of the municipal program "Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment in Nizhny Novgorod for 2023–2028." Financing will be provided from the city budget for 2026.

      Under the terms of the contract, the contractor is to carry out a range of works. These include dismantling activities, removal of old green plantings, installation of outdoor lighting networks, laying of new surfaces, planting of trees and shrubs, as well as the creation of lawns and flower beds.

      In addition, the installation of small architectural forms is planned in the square, which should give the area a finished and modern appearance.

      The deadline for completion of the works is set for August 15, 2026. At the same time, the contract allows for early completion of the improvement subject to agreement between the parties.

      Applications to participate in the tender are accepted until January 26.
