Failure to pay wages to an employee of a company in Vyksa led to a criminal case.
December 31, 2025, 10:09 Incidents. A criminal case has been opened in Vyksa over the prolonged non-payment of wages to an employee of one of the commercial organizations. The basis for this was the materials of a prosecutor’s inspection.
During the supervisory activities the city prosecutor’s office found that from September to November 2025 an employee of an enterprise engaged in the production and sale of animal feed did not receive wages in full.
The amount of the debt exceeded 600,000 rubles. At the same time it was revealed that the employer had the necessary funds to settle with the staff. However, the company’s management directed income to other business needs not related to priority obligations.
Following the inspection the prosecutor’s office handed the materials to the preliminary investigation body. As a result, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 145.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — complete non-payment of wages for a period of more than two months.
The situation is under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office. The agency continues to monitor the progress of the investigation and is taking measures to restore the violated labor rights of the affected employee.
Earlier it was reported that the Volga Transport Prosecutor’s Office helped the mother of a Nizhny Novgorod resident who died at Sportivnaya station receive compensation from Russian Railways (RZD).
