Nizhny Novgorod Region has provided even more quotas — 3,198 — for IVF procedures in 2026. This was reported by Alexey Nikonov, editor-in-chief of MIA "Statsionar-press."
The main part of the quotas will be financed by the territorial compulsory medical insurance (CHI) fund, which will allocate more than 430 million rubles. Another 169 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes in the regional budget. In addition, federal quotas for IVF procedures are also being allocated at the Privolzhsky District Medical Center.
"For residents of Nizhny Novgorod and residents of other regions, all services are provided free of charge," the statement says. According to data from the Center for Assisted Reproductive Technologies of the POMC, the oldest mother after IVF in 2025 was a 48-year-old resident of the region. From January to November, the quotas allocated for 2025 were almost fully used.
