Test runs on tram tracks have begun in the Nizhegorodsky and Sovetsky districts.

      Specialists have begun the technical trial run of tram tracks in the Nizhegorodsky and Soviet districts of Nizhny Novgorod. According to LLC "Ecological Projects", the work is being carried out using a special tower car that checks the infrastructure's readiness for the launch of regular service.

      Testing is taking place on several sections, and its goal is to ensure the tracks are in good working order and the safety of future services.

      Parking along the tram tracks is prohibited on Ilyinskaya, Dobrolyubova, Osharskaya and other streets. Drivers are urged to follow road signs. Otherwise, parked cars may impede the work.

      It was previously reported that trams could return to Osharskaya Street by the end of 2025.
