A fast-food café will open in Nizhny Novgorod's "Chardymov House".

      A Rostic’s fast-food café will open in the Chardymov House on Bolshaya Pecherskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod. According to pravda-nn.ru, the establishment's branded sign has already been installed on the building's facade.

      The building, which is a regional architectural monument, underwent extensive restoration. During the work, the original walls, stucco ornamentation and facade elements dating from the early 20th century were preserved. Other structural parts were recreated using modern materials.

      The restoration of the Chardymov House was carried out as part of a joint project to restore two historic buildings — the plan also included the Samgin House, which does not have OKN status. The Samgin House's architectural appearance is executed in the style of the early 20th century, and the building itself is planned to be used as a public space.

      Reconstruction work on both houses began in 2025. In November 2025 it was reported that the project was planned to be completed by the end of the current year.
