Mingrad approved the design of the Pecherskie Peski tourist complex.

December 29, 2025, 17:28 — Economy. The Ministry of Urban Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has approved the architectural and urban planning appearance of the "Pecherskiye Peski" tourist complex, which will be located on the eponymous peninsula in the Rowing Canal area of Nizhny Novgorod. The order was published on the agency's website.

The complex will be built on two plots. The total built-up area will exceed 23,000 square meters. The tourist facility will include 13 one- and two-story hotel buildings, a spa center with a restaurant, a conference hall, an administrative and utility building, a boiler house, rental points and checkpoints. Construction of engineering infrastructure facilities is also planned, including transformer substations and a boiler house.

According to the document, the project complies with the requirements of the architectural and urban planning regulations established by the land use and development rules of Nizhny Novgorod.

It should be noted that other projects are also being implemented on the peninsula. Thus, in December the ministry issued a permit to prepare planning documentation for the territory of the Pecherskiye Peski peninsula. Two major investment projects are planned: a year-round glamping park and a four-star hotel complex. The documentation was developed at the initiative of the companies "Kompleksnye Informatsionnye Tekhnologii" and "NN-Peski Premium."

It was also reported that the company "Aqualon" received permission to build the "Leto" sports club next to the eponymous yacht club on the Pecherskiye Peski peninsula in Nizhny Novgorod.
