State awards were presented to 22 Nizhny Novgorod residents and to the staff of a regional industrial enterprise.

      On December 26, Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Andrey Gneushev presented state awards to 22 residents of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and to a collective of an industrial enterprise of the region. The solemn ceremony took place at the Rukavishnikovs' museum-estate.

      “For me it is a great honor to present state awards to people who, through their work, bring glory to our region and our country in various fields. Behind each award is enormous labor, and sometimes an entire professional life. There are achievements that can be called a true feat. For example, the feat of motherhood. It is such large families that we should take as an example. I sincerely congratulate everyone on their well-deserved awards! I thank you for your professionalism, dedication, devotion to duty, and loyalty to our region and country,” said Andrey Gneushev.

      For great merits in strengthening the institution of the family and raising children, the title “Mother Heroine” was conferred on Natalya Tarabarina from Pavlovsky District. Together with her husband they are raising 14 children.

      State awards were presented to Nizhny Novgorod residents for merits in industry, aircraft manufacturing, science and education, healthcare, culture and the arts, journalism, public and municipal service, and the electoral system.

      The event was organized by the Ministry of Personnel Policy of the regional government.
