"Pari NN" offered forward Juan Boselli a new contract.

      December 25, 2025 14:20 Sport — Football club Pari Nizhny Novgorod has offered forward Juan Boselli a new contract and is awaiting his decision. This was reported by the club’s general director, Vitaliy Karasev, in a conversation with "Match TV."

      According to Karasev, the club has sent the Uruguayan a new offer and has not yet received a refusal. The management is aware that other Russian clubs are also showing interest in Boselli. At the moment he remains a player of the Nizhny Novgorod club, and he is expected at the training camp in Turkey, which starts on January 13.

      "Boselli is our leader; he had a good first half of the season. From his representatives I heard that Juan would like to move up, to take the next step for himself. But we, on our part, are doing everything possible to keep our asset. The decision about his career future will be made by the player himself and those around him," the general director noted.

      Recall that insider Ivan Karpov reported that Boselli does not intend to extend his contract with the Nizhny Novgorod club, hoping to move to a more prestigious team.

      Talks about the Uruguayan’s possible departure began back in the summer. The then general director of Pari NN, David Melik-Guseynov, denied the rumors, asserting that the player himself was not seeking a change of club. Later, sporting director Alexander Udaltcov explained that the club had not received offers that would satisfy all parties, and it was decided that Boselli would finish the season in Nizhny Novgorod.

      Recently, sporting director Anton Evmenov also emphasized that the club’s priority scenario remains extending the Uruguayan’s contract. If negotiations fail, Pari NN will look for other options; however, letting the player go for free is highly undesirable.

      Juan Boselli joined the Nizhny Novgorod team in 2023. Before that he played for Portuguese clubs Gil Vicente and Tondela. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €1.2 million. In the current season the forward has played 20 matches and scored 10 goals. His contract with Pari NN runs until the summer of 2026.
