A farewell will be held in Arzamas for the well-known musician Vadim Vlasov.

      In Arzamas, the well-known musician and member of the band "Vlas Vegas", Vadim Vlasov, suddenly died. On December 26 he was supposed to have a concert.

      According to his wife Ekaterina, after being discharged from the hospital he felt fine. But on Monday he got worse and lost his appetite. Death occurred suddenly, on the day when the concert was supposed to take place.

      "But he was preparing for the Friday performance, he drove himself to get the jeans he wanted to wear on Friday. He will be in them, as he wanted. And how did it happen that it was exactly on Friday, December 26, the day when the concert was supposed to be," the widow wrote.

      Condolences to the family were expressed by Arzamas mayor Alexander Shchelokov.

      "The band 'Vlas Vegas' became one of the voices of Arzamas. I remember the guys' performance on City Day in 2024 — very heartfelt, very 'ours'. Vadim, thank you for the music. We will miss you," Shchelokov shared.

      The farewell with the artist will take place on December 25 from 18:00 to 20:00 in the farewell hall on Volodarsky Street, next to the Tikhvin Cemetery.

      The funeral service will take place on December 26 at 10:00 in the Church of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called.

      Earlier it was reported that Communist Alexey Zimin from Gorodets was killed in the special military operation.
