The Institute for Demographic Development added information about tax benefits to the "Life Situations" service.

      16:46, December 25, 2025 Economy ANO "Institute for Demographic Development" has updated the "Life Situations" service by adding new thematic schemes to the "Tax Benefits" section. Now families with children in Nizhny Novgorod will find it easier to navigate the processing of tax deductions: the standard child deduction, the social deduction and the property deduction.

      The "Life Situations" service includes an action algorithm for step‑by‑step resolution of complex issues. Thanks to the instructions, a user can easily figure out which documents to prepare to receive a tax deduction, how to request a personal income tax (NDFL) refund via Gosuslugi or the personal account on the Federal Tax Service website, and how to check their entitlement to other tax benefits and support measures.

      The "Tax Benefits" section provides detailed guides on how to obtain a social deduction for medical treatment or the purchase of medicines, how to claim a property deduction when buying or building housing, how to reclaim mortgage interest, and how to receive a deduction for payment of educational services.

      For convenient use of the materials, each scenario has been supplemented with auxiliary sections: "Suitable Support Measures," "Frequently Asked Questions," and "Legal Framework" with links to regulatory acts. In addition, there are direct links to the regional "Calculator of Social Support Measures" and the "Benefits Directory."

      Today the "Life Situations" service already includes nine scenarios grouped into four thematic sections: "Education and Self‑Development," "Work and Parents' Careers," "Document Processing," and "Tax Benefits."

      "Parents need convenient and clear digital solutions that save time and effort. Every new service, every clarified instruction is a small step toward allowing a family to focus on raising children rather than on bureaucratic difficulties," emphasized Evgeny Zhuravlev, Director of the Institute for Demographic Development.

      Recall that work to stabilize the demographic situation in the region is being carried out in accordance with the goals and objectives of the new national project "Family." By decision of the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Gleb Nikitin, the period from 2025 to 2030 has also been declared the Five‑Year Family period in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
