The road in the Pochainsky Ravine will not be opened until November 2026.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, traffic on Pochainsky Ovrazh Street and part of Universitetsky Lane will remain closed until 10 November 2026. This is stated in city administration decree No. 15305 dated 2 December 2025.

      The restrictions are being imposed in connection with the ongoing improvement of the terraced park. In particular, it concerns the reconstruction of the stormwater sewer collector and the stabilization of the ravine slopes. The work is being carried out at the initiative of the state enterprise NO "DiRON", acting as the project's general contractor.

      Traffic in the Pochainsky Ravine area was blocked as early as July of this year. It was initially planned that the restrictions would remain in place until the end of October, but the deadlines were revised and extended by almost a year.

      Passage through the designated zone will be completely closed from 22 December 2025. Drivers are asked to take the changes into account when planning their routes.

      Earlier it became known that the completion date for the terraced park in the Pochainsky Ravine of Nizhny Novgorod had been extended to November 2026. Originally the improvements were to be finished by November 2025, but in October it became known that the timelines would be adjusted.
