There are no seriously injured among those hurt in the crash on the M-12 near Arzamas, Mayor Alexander Shchelokov reported on his Telegram channel.
The accident occurred on the evening of December 2 near the village of Kostylikha. Seventeen people were injured, 14 of whom were hospitalized in the Arzamas Central City Hospital.
According to Shchelokov, the injured are in mild to moderate condition. "Oleg Yuryevich Kurakhtanov (chief physician of the CCH — ed.) is handling it," the official clarified.
Authorities also sent drivers from the transport company to the scene to pick up 106 people from the highway. They will be temporarily accommodated in a hotel.
Earlier it was reported that the prosecutor's office and the Investigative Committee had taken an interest in the incident.
