      In November 2025, 128 people went missing in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by representatives of the search-and-rescue team "Volunteer."

      According to the organization, 96 people were found alive. Another eight were found dead.

      In five cases volunteers' help was not required — the missing were found on their own or were located by other services.

      The fate of 19 people remains unknown. Their search is currently ongoing.

      Earlier it was reported that a fisherman disappeared on the Gorky Reservoir in the Sokolsky district. Also in November it became known that a Nizhny Novgorod resident who had gone to Moscow had gone missing.

      Since the beginning of 2025, volunteers have managed to determine the fate of more than 2,300 residents of the region who had been listed as missing.
