Gleb Nikitin spoke about an agreement with the National Assistance Center

      02 December 2025 17:41 Society. The authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region signed a cooperation agreement with the National Assistance Center. This was reported by the region’s governor, Gleb Nikitin, on his Telegram channel.

      According to Nikitin, the joint work will be aimed at creating and developing an effective system of interaction between the state and society in matters of searching for missing children.

      “Together we will develop and expand an effective state-society system for searching for missing children, organize training for volunteers, and carry out preventive activities with minors,” the head of the region said.

      He emphasized that establishing trusting relationships with children makes it possible to increase their awareness and reduce their vulnerability to external threats. Therefore, special attention will be paid to preventive and methodological work with teenagers and their parents on safety issues.

      The governor also noted that the agreement opens up new opportunities for training volunteers involved in searches for people.

      “We have several search-and-rescue teams and services in the region that help find missing people. Today I discussed with Elena Milskaya, chair of the Board of Trustees of the National Center, holding a large gathering in the Nizhny Novgorod region that will bring together search volunteers from different regions of Russia,” Nikitin added.

      Earlier it was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod region concluded a cooperation agreement with the Tver region.
