Nizhny Novgorod pharmacists who were denied accreditation have come under scrutiny amid suspicions of using forged diplomas and certificates. This was reported on the Telegram channel of medical expert Alexey Nikonov.

During a meeting of the Public Council of Roszdravnadzor, representatives of the Federal Accreditation Center (FAC) emphasized that buying diplomas and certificates is unacceptable. According to them, fake documents are currently being actively uncovered, especially among workers with more than 20 years of experience.

Earlier, the FAC began denying accreditation to specialists with extensive experience.

To date, 14 criminal cases have been opened for the use of forged documents.

About 80% of accreditation refusals can be reviewed after correcting employees' job titles. Pharmacist-technologists who were previously denied are advised to resubmit their documents taking the requirements into account.

To clarify common mistakes when submitting documents, the FAC will hold a webinar in November. Pharmacy HR departments were reminded of their responsibility and the need to list positions in accordance with the Ministry of Health's nomenclature.

It was previously reported that the average bill in Nizhny Novgorod pharmacies increased by 12.4%.
