Nizhny Novgorod pharmacists who bought diplomas and certificates face criminal charges.

      Nizhny Novgorod pharmacists who purchased forged diplomas and certificates risk facing criminal prosecution. This was reported on his Telegram channel by Alexey Nikonov, a representative of the Nizhny Novgorod Region healthcare system.

      The situation arose against the background of accreditation refusals for experienced pharmacy workers due to discrepancies in entries in employment records. At present, fake diplomas and certificates are most often found among pharmacists with more than 20 years of experience. Fourteen criminal cases have been opened.

      Representatives of the Federal Accreditation Center (FAC) stressed at a meeting of the Public Council of Roszdravnadzor that obtaining diplomas and certificates illegally is unacceptable.

      To address the issue, on November 27 the FAC plans to hold a webinar (18+) dedicated to analyzing errors in the accreditation of pharmacists. Most applicants will be able to pass the check after correcting job titles in their documents. Pharmacy technologists who were previously denied accreditation are advised to submit a new application.

      Personnel officers of pharmacy organizations are considered responsible for the accreditation problems and are strongly urged to strictly adhere to the job titles approved in the nomenclature of the Russian Ministry of Health.

      Earlier it was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod trade union defended doctors' rights to 27 million rubles.
