      In Nizhny Novgorod a management company was punished because of a leaking roof in one of the buildings. Details were reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office. The prosecutor's office of the Nizhny Novgorod district checked how the management company cares for the condition of the residential building in the city. Together with specialists from the housing inspection they inspected the premises, especially the apartment on the top floor, and found signs of roof leaks throughout the apartment and in the common areas.

      The prosecutor demanded that the head of the management company eliminate all deficiencies and initiated an administrative case. After that the company repaired the roof and fully reimbursed the resident for the damage caused by the leaks.

      The employee of the management organization responsible for the building was fined — 50,000 rubles for negligent attitude to work.
