From July 1, 2026, the Nizhny Novgorod region will see a scheduled increase in the minimum contribution for major repairs of apartment buildings. The corresponding decree of the regional government appeared on the official portal for the publication of legal acts.

In the first half of 2026, tariffs will remain at the current level: from 8.36 to 13.38 rubles per square meter. The amount of the contribution depends on the presence of an elevator, heating and gas supply systems, as well as on the specific municipal formation.

Starting July 1, the minimum contribution will increase by about 4%. Residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region will pay from 8.69 to 13.92 rubles per square meter. The increase will also be differentiated by districts and by the technical characteristics of the housing.

The largest amounts will have to be paid by apartment owners in buildings equipped with elevators and all types of engineering utilities. This concerns, in particular, residents of Nizhny Novgorod, Dzerzhinsk, Sarov, as well as the Arzamas, Bogorodsk, Vad, Volodarsky, Gorodetsky, Pavlovsky, Vyksunsky and Kulebaki districts.

Recall that on July 1, 2025, contributions for major repairs in the region increased by 4.5%.

It was previously reported that a new utility operator was created in Nizhny Novgorod as a result of the merger of JSC "Teploenergo" and the municipal enterprise "Nizhny Novgorod Vodokanal."
