Hockey players Torpedo-Gorky lost to Chelyabinsk’s Chelmet in a VHL regular-season home game. The match ended with a narrow victory for the visitors — 0:1.
For two periods the teams displayed evenly matched play. The outcome was decided by an incident that occurred four and a half minutes before the final siren. The referees resorted to video review of the moment and awarded a goal to Lorens Zinaddin.
In the remaining time Dmitry Kosmachev’s players tried to equalize but failed to convert their chances due to Chelyabinsk’s solid defense.
The farm club (6+) will play its next match on 19 November against HC Gornyak-UGMK.
